WHY FORGED ALUMINUM?
WHY FORGED?
Forging is a process that uses thousands of tons of water pressure to compress the material into occupying a smaller physical area. The end result is that the product is typically much stronger, denser in material and lighter. This process retains the same or even greater amount of strength as that of a billet or casted product.
FORGING
A> Is about 1.8(80%) stronger than casted products.
B> Is about 1.4(40%) stronger than billet products.
-Forged materials are typically used in machinery that is subject to tremendous amounts of stress, such as forged pistons for race cars and dragsters.
-Forging is the top Metallurgical production process for performance products.
-As in the automotive wheel market, most of the top manufactures will choose a forged product over billet or cast. This is for strength, reliability, and durability.
-The motorcycle industry has always lead over the automotive industry with the exception of there wheels/rims. Today it is possible to get this kind of high end performance, strength, reliability, and durability at a reasonable price through Carrozzeria USA, Inc.
PRODUCTION

A> We take aluminum alloy (AL6151/T6), this material is used in the aircraft and aerospace industry, then create a wheel that is safe and durable for many years of riding enjoyment.
B> We use the CNC machining process which removes excess weight while retaining the wheels integrity, and strength.
C>Every Carrozzeria wheel is manufactured so that fit without any modifications.*
D>Carrozzeria wheels typically uses 5 bearing in the rear wheel, when stock only uses 3. (Please note that torquing of the rear wheel is about 30% less than factory specifications for front wheel, and 50% less torque for rear wheel.)
E>Carrozzeria uses a one piece construction for the hub assembly, which creates a stronger and will be more durable wheel in the long run.
F>We use a cush drive system***, that allows for a more comfortable ride, as well as reduced wear and tear on the transmission, chain, and sprocket.

OTHER
Tires not included. Specific on the torquing the wheel, please read installation guide.
All sprocket mounting dimensions are the same for each wheel.
Inner Diameter = 80MM
Bolt Pitch = 104×6 Bolt Hole = 10.5MM (this dimension is the same as 95-01 ZX-9R)
Please contact DRIVEN, AFAM or Sunstar regarding aftermarket sprocket applications and part numbers.
*Some models require transplanting the speed drive gear.
**Please change cush drive rubber every 10,000km.
COMPARING OUR PRODUCT
When you comparing our wheels with any other manufactures, make sure to check:
Weight
Our weight includes "Spacer", "Bearing" and "Cush drive".
Design
Does it come with "Spacer", "Bearing" and "Cush drive"?
Strength/Our wheel strength is 3 times stronger than stock wheel and 1.4 times stronger than billet wheel!!
We use AL6151/T6 aluminum alloy, which is used in aircraft and aerospace industries.
We use 5 bearings in our wheel. (Compared to 3 bearings in a stock wheel!)
This makes the torquing of the wheels about 30%-50% less than factory specifications.

We use a one piece construction of the hub assembly, which is very time consuming to make, but it's stronger and will be more durable in the long run.

We use a cush drive system, that allows for a more comfortable ride, as well as reduced wear and tear on the transmission, chain and sprocket.

WHY OUR WHEELS ARE THE BEST
We are the pioneer of Forged Aluminum Wheels for Motorcycles, which allow us to create a product that is lighter, stronger, durable and longer lasting than any other wheels available on the market.
Our products allows for enhanced ride ability and lighter overall weight of the vehicle.

The Forging process has been in existence for hundred of years by using the technological advances of the modern era. Because of the highest standards of strength and safety are utmost important, this technology of shaping metal is still currently used in aerospace and high performance automotive industries, but never before until Hi Point introduced this in motorcycle market a few years ago.

Forging improves the structure of metal by refining the grain size of the metal. This process makes metal stronger and docile than cast metal. The metal also has a greater resistance to fatigue and impact. Our wheels are typically exhibiting up to 1.8 times more strength than other manufactures that use a non-forging process. As a result, our safety standards set by the NHTSA, D.O.T. and Japan's JWL.

When you compare our Forged Aluminum Wheels with Magnesium or Carbon Wheels, yes they are lighter, but when you think of your safety and durability, none of them even come close to our forged aluminum wheels. Just ask any Professional about the benefits of forged aluminum.
